The Officine's prowess

The Officine explores new techniques, ever more inventive, yet with unwavering precision and aesthetics. Thus, this jewel-like balm is inspired by the copper engraving methods experimented with in the 15th century by Martin Schongauer, a trained painter and son of a goldsmith in Colmar. It may be adorned with initials, a surname or a first name, thereby allowing full claim of ownership. The letters proudly display their lines and reliefs with the utmost attention to detail.
The contours of the balm also feature parallel straight lines that intersect according to a meticulous 16th century engraving technique known as guilloche.
