The Dawn of Spring at the Officine

First and foremost, for the proper writing - and reading! - of this dispatch, we must put our nose outside to acclimatise to a breeze still a little too chilly, to let ourselves be tamed by the few rays of sunshine, and lastly, to have a friendly chat with the neighbourhood birds. The cheeks are already tinged with colour, the body is energised and the senses are regaining their taste. The memory of the body is working eagerly, and spring is fondly reminding us what its presence feels like.

TO THE SCENTS OF SPRING, A GRATEFUL MOOD

Depending on your longitude, whether you are a mountain soul or a country parishioner, spring may be slow to arrive. Even though today, the twenty-first of the third month of the year, we celebrate its advent, there is nothing less mathematical than nature. Since nature acts according to her good will, it is up to us to persuade her to come back immediately.

As offerings, the Officine Universelle Buly has imagined six garden perfumes that the budding plant world cannot resist. Their green, aromatic and sunny scents are a wonderfully suitable prelude to seducing fine weather, flowers, leaves and fruit: sympathisers of the world, perfume yourself!

To this end, a collection of soaps, beauty oils, water-based perfumes and other moisturising lotions borrow from the garden, its princely ingredients and vegetables:

There is nothing wrong with playing a little mischief to convince the mind that the body is on holiday. THE GRAND GROOMING

Your skin deserves attention, gentleness and care all year round. With the advent of warmer weather, there is no way of postponing the skincare calendar: the red cross on the 21 March box heralds the time for a major cleansing. We will therefore start with the body - the most laborious task first - to then move on to the face.

Gently exfoliate the body: a threefold recommendation of the Officine Use a previously moistened horsehair glove and add a fragrant, exfoliating cleansing paste obtained from the happy marriage of Huile de Savon and lavender flower powder. Massage, rub and exfoliate your body with joy to regain energy and firmness in just a few strokes.
Purifying the skin, a gentle trinity During the bath or shower, use a small knitted cotton cleansing glove and Ivory Coast black soap to cleanse the face on a damp skin. A real purifying massage that awakens the features. When you get out of the water, a few drops of hemp seed oil to moisturise and purify are welcome.
