THE CASTOR

Castor oil has been used in the preparation for remedies and treatments for millennia. A small tropical shrub from the euphorbiaceae family, castor gives life to seeds covered with spines. They are cold pressed for the extraction of the coveted oil.
Mainly composed of ricinoleic acid, it surprises with its thick and syrupy texture. Known for its multiple virtues, it is said that this oil was Cleopatra’s favourite.
