“Kiso Yuzu” is a little miracle in itself. The purity and sweetness of this peculiar citrus is brought out by fruity notes of lemon, peppermint and Japanese laurel, warmed up by accords of sensual woody amber, Hô wood and its hints of clove, and white musk.

For the past four centuries at least, yuzu, a hybrid between wild mandarin and Ichang lemon that looks like a puffy lemon, has played a prominent part in the Tōji, the winter solstice ceremony. During this special night, in the warm waters of large Japanese wooden bathtubs, yuzus float, releasing their fragrance for the elated pleasure of the bathers. With this tradition of the yuzuyû, the tiny suns brighten and soothe the spirits at a time of year where the night seems to never end.

Our Savon Superfin agrees with all skin-types, from the most sensitive to the most tolerant. It can just as well become the daily ritual for clean and delicately perfumed hands, as the mainstay of your major ablutions.

To be used on wet skin, and then lathered. Rinse well after washing the body or the hands.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
After use, do not leave the Savon Superfin on a wet surface; rather wipe off with the hands before placing on its octagonal holder to let it rest and dry.

This soap-free dermatological cleansing bar contains surfactants that are less aggressive than those in traditional soap. As a result, it has the advantage of being closer to the skin’s natural pH value. The formula of our Superfine Soap is especially recommended for cleansing delicate skin.
